Studio Etiquette

  1. Please remove your shoes before entering the Shala
  2. Please maintain silence when entering or leaving the premises
  3. Please bring your own yoga mat to class. We do have mats available for new students who have not yet purchased a mat
  4. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the class begins to allow yourself time to settle into your practice
  5. The gate will be closed 2 minutes before the start of class. Should you be late, please inform us and we will set out a space for you.
  6. It is advisable not to eat or drink for 3 hours before class
  7. Our classes are not suitable for pregnant woman and children younger than 16 years of age
  8. Remember to inform your teacher if you have an injury or a medical condition. Postures will then be modified for you and you will still enjoy the benefits of the practice.
